Oahu is joining the nationwide America250 celebration with special events that honor the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence!
Kailua Independence Day Parade
The Kailua 4th of July Parade is an Oahu tradition that brings the community together with colorful floats, marching bands, hula hālau, local heroes, and family-friendly celebrations filled with aloha.
- Time: 10 AM
- Where: Kailua. The parade route begins near Kainalu Drive and continues to Kailua Intermediate School.
- Cost: Free

Hawai‘i America250 Event at Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum
On July 4 at 1 p.m. HST, the Hawaiʻi America250 celebration will take place at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum with a traditional military-themed program inside the museum hangar. Mayor Rick Blangiardi and Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke are expected to attend, and the 90-minute event is open to the public.

America250 4th of July Fireworks in Waikiki
Light up the sky with a dazzling 10-minute fireworks show celebrating America's independence!
- Time: 8:30 PM
- Where: Along Waikiki Beach, Kapiʻolani Park and Magic Island. The fireworks can also be viewed from beachfront hotels and restaurants.
- Cost: Free and open to the public
