location was close to Ala Moana shopping centre but a bit of a trek to beach walk/waikiki beach.
no laundry in room, which was a bit annoying to pay 6.25 to do a load of laundry but not the end of the world.
The unit was a bit dated and in need of a refresh but was very comfortable. It was clean, but old.
I do wish we could have used the resort towels at the beach, as we didn't bring any from home.
All in all we had a nice stay.
I stayed with Marina Hawai'i Vacations while on a business trip to Hawai'i, and I was extremely happy with not only their professionalism, but the aloha and hospitality they provide. I am originally from Hawai'i, and was so happy to see that the Aloha Spirit was still carried on with these folks. Though they are typically closed on Sundays, Mia (I believe that's her name) was there with a bright smile and welcoming heart ready to check me in. That's the kind of impression you want to come in contact with when getting off of a 12 hour travel day. I stayed in two Ilikai units, and they both did not disappoint. One on the 15th floor and one on the 5th. I stayed in two units because I had split date reservations. NOT because anything was wrong. It was so good to be able to wake up to the sunrise and ocean view every morning, that it made me want to sit on the balcony for hours. Both units had either great views of the ocean or the pool. Either way, it was gorgeous. The check in process was smooth, and everything that was required of me to do before I checked out was explained, which actually came to memory both times I checked out. They offered complimentary toiletries, and room amenities that you would need. From irons to vacuums, and even swimming gear! Staying at the Ilikai was so convenient. It was just a 2 minute uber ride away from Ala Moana, and close walks to great restaurants and stores. Needless to say that the next time I'm in Hawai'i, I'll definitely be staying with Marina Hawai'i Vacations. They are top notch, filled with the aloha spirit, and make you feel at home.
The view of the Lagoon was great! The room was clean, but it does need some renovations. Décor & Couch seems to be very old. The pull out couch was almost broke down. The foam mattress cover helped. Over all we loved it.
